The Hobbits: Beside you

The creation that is the Hobbit

The Lord of the Rings was a proud moment in movie history for the people of New Zealand. To me, the movie looked create. Yet it failed to really create the wow amazing factor as reported at the time if I am remembering right. Nevertheless, the movie was noted as a big budget disappointment. As soon as I started screenwriting, I challenge myself to create another franchise that can improve on the Lord of the rings. This lead to the creation of the Hobbits. At the time, I was also writing an album with Ed Sheeran's name attached to it. By the end of that work, I scripted 5 movies for the Hobbits. Desolation of smaugh, The five armies.

A word can be enough to build a blockbuster franchise on. A word like Kulukulu, sounds like a bird.

The Guardians of the Galaxies
We frontiered

The Guardians of the Galaxies is a new creation as to well. This was part of the building of the Marvel brand. This movie franchise was not to be released until I am named for my screen writing. At least 2 or 3 Galaxies have been written yet not released. The guardians have grossed revenue at around 800 million dollars to just below 1 billion. For me, this is a success and because there are 2 to 3 movies already scripted that are yet to be released. The decision is to create another franchise.

Madmax

Mad Max is a popular and successful movie franchines that I grew up watching as a young kid. I gave it a little revamp and brought to the prefetto of today's audience.

Fury road

Saga

Seed of Redemption

Two have not been released yet, Saga is getting released in 2 months from now.

The theme for fury road was a big car chase. The whole movie revolved around having the one truck being chased by the bad guys. Just looked at the trailer to Madmax saga and the Kid with apple is reminds me of the script. Saga is a parallel write on how the world is being poisoned by drug companies ie Mental Hospital industry. According to my finding on medicine. A disease that required a lifetime of treatment does not have a cure. The case on the mental hospital crime has been reported to the police numerous times to numerous law organisations. Saga, Seed of Redemption and two other Madmax has been written. Thank goodness Madmax Saga will screen in 2 months.

What the students of the Ekoti School of Scholar in Screen writing will get is the relative best that will give them the best chance of getting to the blockbuster arena.

The blabber is worth nothing if we don't start a successful franchise

Lets start

Pointers

Know the generics

Know the culture

Identify the edges of knowledge and understanding

Know the technology you can use

Know the edges the technological possibilities

Know the Genre

Pick a genre you that you can master

All these pointers will help you to a good or very strong start.

Final note, every genre, every word can be turned to a blockbuster success. with that in mind. It is easy to miss the mark or expectations of the audience. 4 miss placed words or things can make the movie not so good. The difference between 200 million and 400 million, or 40 million for that matter.  8 miss placed things can make a movie bad. The difference between 80 million and 20 million at the cinema.

Step 1: A concept

Let's create a concept for the movie

We will try to screenwrite 2 movies, taking breaks on writing one to the other

1. Generics

Genre

First it was cartoons

Then it became 3 dimension animations.

I use human characters

Young audience

Audience

Animation is well place for the younger audience.

1. They are almost happy with anything and everything

Older audience

We also need to bring in the older and middle age teenagers to watch our animation movie.

1. The word in the dialogue can bring the older audience.

2. The technology can bring the older audience. Colours, sparkles, shiny things and new things

or Age specific audience

The script should avoid writing for a specific age group as it limits the number of audience

Everyone

All is the prefetto. An screenwrite for the children must also have enough entertainment for the adults.

The scholar training will go into more specific discussions of the different topics. Let's move on to the writing of the concept and the title of the new movie.

and more

Out of these very few words. Identify the biggest word. That word is most powerful than the rest. I choose to use all the of them. For a successful movie, you need 6 or more of these big words to form your genre. 4 will give a very strong start. Some will pick just 1, it can also work

All the top 14 in this list came from the 'Ekoti screen write. John Wick 4 is possibly from a different writer. I started the John Wick franchise and scripted 4 plus 1. It is worth noting that there are more than 1000 movies being made every year and the placement of my movies at the top 15 highest money making in 2023 is not a mistake. It came from hard work and great tactical writing.

It is also worth noting that I also won place 193 with a movie called The Wondering Earth 2. I am currently looking at how this franchise designed to rise to the billion dollar movie grossing only earned 8 million dollars. Hopefully, it was a plug release. Wondering Earth made almost 700 million on debut.

These talents and knowledge is what you will learn from the school of scholar.

Step 1:

The Genre: fotu'i

Technology

Knowledge

Invention

Mystery

(non-x)

Fotu'i

Leva is now a movie category that writes from inventive technology. A leva will have content on the knowledge. The final premise in a Leva is a mystery. It needs to be something that the day to day audience could not understand or have never known before. The word fotu'i is taken out from a more complete set of words 'fotu'i he la'a' meaning rising as the sun, or presenting as the sun or rising sun.

The next test is to find a title that captures or lead us to the concept.

Step 2:
Title: A big light bulb

Technology

Knowledge

Invention

Mystery

Amazing

(non-x)

A big light bulb is now the title of this 5 movie sequence. The beginning of a new franchise. I chose this direction because it brings a different dynamic to the cinema. This first outing will be more academic science, knowledge and technology..

Mystery

What is this 'big light bulb'?

What does it do?

It needs to be special for us to go and watch.

Technology

Has it been done before?

Why hasn't anyone done something like so?

Invention

Anything about invention is great to watch. The invention just has to be big enough. It must be amazing.

Because of the current materials that dilutes the cinema. I anticipate that this movie will gross over the 3 billion mark (non government reserve with ease). I fancy being the first movie to get to 5 billion, I will be happy with 3.5 billion at the box office. The screenwrite is as crucial as the deployment strategy. In a government reserve economy, movies like "The big light bulb can reach as high as 350 billion dollars per movie. Depending on how the screenwriting go. I could be looking at a value of $80 to $100 per person as per world population.. A total grossing of up to $800 billion dollars. A screenwrite appropriate as a learning piece for the school of scholar.

Step 2:
Title: screen write at core 1

The very few things we picked on from the conceptual founding of the movie is enough to get the screenwriter to a core 1 success. This is the point I started screenwriting. Any student would be edging and excited to start screenwriting their first movie.

We can start. Then we will look and some other knowledge base that will help us. Then we script again. Scene 1 coming up

night looking up

stars (clear sky, tall trees, branches softly moved by the wind)

bgsound coming through(high tone dilution, quick takeoff

Screen writing includes the insertions and including of the sound.

Sound is used to evoke feelings.

Sound is used to take the audience to a deeper focus.

Sound is used to bring the audience into scene.

Sound is used to block the surrounding disturbances whilst the movie is being watched.

bgsound carries

A good screen writer will be able to experience the movie whilst writiing the screen write.

A bgsound(bg for background) carry is the use of backbround sound to hold the entertainment value at those various points in time at acceptable value to high value.

The bgsound carry can be any sound for any purpose

coming to shots, flock of insects(flying beetles or something), illuminated bellies, coming in from left and right, slowly rising towards the sky(some insect sound).

shot: illuminating insect hoppling over the leaves, camera follows. feets of the lion steps into the shot, planting just ahead, lions walks pasts, more feets(passing the shot, walking away,)

shot: side of the lion, rising diagonally, 200 other lions in the flock comes to shot(40% light), a little roar(20 %)

shot: following from the back of the lions, walk walk walk, coming up a climb(lions walking over and up, shot follows, lions are walking away, shot is coming up the side of the little cliff edge and climbs, leaves and branches of the tree coming through, then skip-to the next shot

shot: four monkeys sitting on a big branch sleeping, moving shot, carries through, another monkey comes to shot.

shot: three illuminate insects on the shoulder of the girl that sad next to me(she must be good to get the part), leaves covers their body(like a dress). Shot of the other girl(moonlight and leaves shadowing on their skin. shot climbs. Next two smaller branch (other branches) with two monkeys sleeping. float the shot to the left, bigger branches with 3 people sleeping.. Start releasing the strength of the bgsound, shot slowly turns, people sleeping ontop of the trees(lots). shot keeps rising (slowly). branches and leaves coming through the shot(pine tree feel to the stop, a little spacious with people sleeping, skip-to, another family sleeping, same slow float-over shot(closeup)

shot: sky stars, milky cloud(move the camera shot left to right.

shot: carry-on from the tree shot but on another tree, closer to the top, space to the left of the shot, trees not too far away from the front(moonlight lights up the leave to an 70 percent light.

shot: behind, branch close to the top, a girl and a guy having a little date, holding on to each other,

(hover bgsound)

shot: another tree, young kid and little monkey watching the moon, move the shot left to right infront(25% distance from the side). go to a moon shot. shot is moving and the moon comes into shot(spike spacer)

(end hover)

pull-back arial looking into the tree community(night insect sound coming through), we can see the two having a date, the kid and the monkey to the left edge of the shot, shot is moving right to left, slow but a little faster than the rising shot(else it will stall), pan the shot round to the left(a little faster, hold the shot(bgsound rising, then slide the shot forward-left(a lot of people sleeping).

then, fade the shot into black screen

Option 1

If you feel that you have completed your scene and don't know how to transition to the next scene. Use the fade out black screen.

Option 2

use a cut-to with distraction, a subtle thumb, or rock crashes into the water.

Fading in is another option but somehow experienced as a weakness, therefore you need bgsound, slow or fast camera to made the transition undetectable to the viewer.

yei, moving on to scene 2 (I am a little hungry, so I will try and write scene 2 from home but the movie will be amazing, little notes gets written into the screenwrite where I think there is great importance or potential for lack know-how.

(this script was half written and was to be completed by another writer)
